About 

Dr Rebecca Tang is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in conditions affecting the shoulder, and general orthopaedic trauma. She has completed focused sub-specialty training in shoulder surgery and performs shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic procedures.

 

Rebecca completed her medical degree through the University of Melbourne in 2009 and was subsequently selected for orthopaedic training in Victoria with the Australian Orthopaedic Association. After gaining her fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Rebecca spent a year at the Austin hospital managing the fracture clinics and operating on orthopaedic trauma. She has undertaken a further sub-specialty shoulder fellowship in Sydney through the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute and Royal North Shore Hospital. 

 

Rebecca consults and operates privately in Hawthorn at Glenferrie Private Hospital. She also has a public appointment at the Austin Hospital where she is involved in teaching students and trainee orthopaedic surgeons.
